New Feature: Equip card system
This new feature will be replacing the need to equip weapons instead you will be equipping cards to your Digimon instead. See in the game you can buy, sell, trade, and find these Digimon cards, which we will be called "Equip Cards" in the game the cards are ranked in 4 different ranks:
-Bronze
-Silver
-Gold
-Platinum
You can only use the equip cards that are equal to your rank for example if you are ranked as a Bronze tamer you can only use bronze cards but when you increase your rank silver tamer you can use both Bronze and Silver "Equip Cards". There are different types of cards that you can equip your Digimon, some cards may increase your attack, defense, speed, or even Aptitude while other cards you may need as a requirement to digivolve to a certain level for example: Flamon will need to be equipped with the "HSpirit of Flame" equip card to be able to digivolve into Agunimon. Also there are cards that will give your Digimon certain attacks that would otherwise seem impossible for your Digimon to learn, For example if you equip Betamon with "Guilmon's Pyro Sphere" equip card then Betamon will be able to use that attack in a special attack window in the battle system called "Custom Attacks". It gives the players the ability to fully customize there Digimon from head to toe and helps you create different types of strategies. The Equip card window is set into 3 different categories in the screen. Listed as so:
-Attributes
-Digivolution
-Custom Attacks
in both Attributes and Custom Attacks you can equip a total of 3 cards, while on Digivolution you can only equip one card. The equip cards are color coded so it's easier to find out which is which.
-Attributes(Blue)
-Digivolution(Green)
-Custom Attacks(Red)
New Feature 2: Mini Digi-Farm System
This second new feature will be very helpful system in the game. The Mini Digi-farm system is a portable Digifarm system that you carry with you on your digivice. It's a quick and accessible way to get to your digimon, you can keep a total of 4 digimon within the Mini Digi-farm that you carry with you. It's for those people who don't want to go all way back to their tamer home to get to switch out there digimon. You only get one Mini Digi-farm and it's not as customizable as a regular farm also beware that the experience gain is halved in the mini digi-farm and you can only equip 2 exercise equipment in your mini farm.
New Feature 3: Double Warp Digivolution
This feature is a feature available for battles, it's a battle option that will appear during battle and it lets you digivolve to your Mega form for about 3 turns. It only effects Digimon who are below mega form and it only effects one digimon in your party, however don't think it's so easy to get their are very specific requirements that you will need during battle to be able to get the option. The requirements are as followed:
-2 out of your 3 digimon must have been defeated
-The Digimon that you have left must have low hp and low mp
-The enemy that your digimon is facing must be at least 10 levels above your own digimon.
These are the requirements of what you will need to get this battle option however this is a very rare option and the chances of you getting it is 1 out of 10.
Well before I head out with this I will like to tell you about 2 new areas unique to Digimon World Alpha.
First area: D-Reaper Zone
This area is an area in the middle of the digital ocean it takes the shape of a red orb, where you can enter into there are no digimon that live in here only D-reaper agents (which you can't catch of course) D-reaper agents are more powerful than Digimon and they won't be easy to defeat. This area however has a multitude of rare treasures that you can find in there that will help you on your journeys. Including some rare equip cards.
Second Area: Xros Zone
This is a unique sub space within the digital world for some reason this place takes the form of the human world mixed with some parts of the Digital world. This subspace has it's own set of rules you can only have one Digimon with you in this subspace and it has to be your main digimon (Kidomon for Male Tamer, Cardinamon for Female Tamer) and once you enter this subspace your Digimon reverts back to it's rookie level (that's only if your not in the rookie level already and it only happens when your in this area once you leave it you will be back to your normal form you were in before you entered it) This subspace is also the only place where you can get Digimon from Xros Wars. Now I bet most of you are thinking how are you supposed to fight these powerful Digimon with only your rookie level Digimon. Well I will be keeping that a secret and let you find out yourself in the game lol, but I like I said before this subspace has it's own special set of rules.
Well that's all the info I have yet I wish I could of shown you guys some screenshots but my computer is lagging
like crazy.
